Improvement in volume and contour normally appears straight away. Some swelling or bruising in the first few days is normal and may exaggerate your result initially.
You should see a natural-looking outcome within 7 to 10 days, once any swelling has settled.
Dermal filler treatments typically last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the area treated, the product used, and your own metabolism and lifestyle.
A short list of dos and don'ts to support your result.
Avoid applying make-up to the treated area for 6 hours.
Do not touch, rub or massage the treated area for at least 48 hours.
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours.
Avoid heavy physical activity, such as gym workouts or running, for at least 24 hours.
Stay upright and gently mobile as much as possible for the first 24 hours.
Avoid steam rooms, saunas, sunbeds and direct sunbathing for the first 48 hours.
Use a cold compress (not ice directly on the skin) if you experience swelling or discomfort.
Do not have facial treatments, chemical peels or laser procedures for 2 weeks.
Follow any specific instructions given by your clinician.
