Composite Bonding.
"A simpler, gentler way to refine your smile."
Composite bonding is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that subtly reshapes and refines your teeth, often in just one appointment.
"Refined in a single visit."
Composite Bonding
Composite bonding is a tooth-coloured resin, applied directly to your teeth, then shaped and polished into the form your clinician has agreed with you. It's used to repair small chips, close small gaps, smooth uneven edges, and refine the overall shape of your front teeth.
Most cases are completed in a single appointment without drilling or anaesthetic. The resin can usually be added to natural enamel without removing tooth structure, which means the treatment is largely reversible. Composite bonding typically lasts five to seven years before any touch-up or replacement is needed.

What is composite bonding?
Composite bonding is as much about judgement and finesse as it is technique. Our approach focuses on subtle, natural-looking improvements that complement your face and smile — not dramatic changes.
The composite is sculpted directly onto the tooth, which means small changes to shape, length, and symmetry can be made tooth-by-tooth. A worn-down edge can be rebuilt, a pointed canine softened, a slightly short tooth lengthened, or a gap between two teeth closed. Each tooth is considered in the context of the others, and of the smile as a whole.
The result is agreed with you in detail before any composite is placed. Photographs and on-screen references make the proposed changes easy to see and discuss in advance. The aim is for the result to look like your teeth at their best, not someone else's.

Composite bonding suits most adults wanting subtle refinement of the front teeth.
Composite bonding works best when the changes you're looking for are subtle: small chips, narrow gaps, slightly uneven edges, or minor shape adjustments. The treatment is delivered in a single visit, without drilling in most cases, and is a more conservative alternative to porcelain veneers.
- Small chips or worn edges on the front teeth.
- Narrow gaps between front teeth.
- Minor uneven edges or asymmetry.
- Patients seeking a single-visit improvement, without drilling.
- Patients who want a conservative, largely reversible treatment.
- Heavily worn or extensively damaged teeth (where crowns may be more appropriate).
- Larger gaps that may need orthodontic correction first.
- Patients who grind or clench heavily without protection in place.
- Active gum disease or untreated decay (we treat the cause first).
- Patients wanting a dramatic change in shade or shape (where porcelain veneers may be more appropriate).
- Heavy coffee, tea, red wine, or smoking habits, which can stain composite faster.
