Dr Aavan Matharu

Aavan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2022 and worked in mixed practice in Dublin and Ottawa before joining West End Dental, building her experience in routine general dentistry. She focuses on all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in restorative care, endodontics and prosthodontics. Aavan recently completed the SimplyEndo programme and is published in the Dental Update, the British Dental Journal and with the College of General Dentistry.

Aavan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2022. She worked in a mixed dental practice in Dublin, Ireland, before migrating to Ottawa in Canada, building her experience in routine general dentistry.
She focuses on all aspects of general dentistry, but particularly enjoys restorative care, endodontics and prosthodontics. Aavan recently completed the SimplyEndo programme and is hoping to enrol in further endodontic courses in the near future. As well as her clinical practice, Aavan is published in the Dental Update, the British Dental Journal and with the College of General Dentistry, UK.
Aavan primarily works in our Colwyn Bay and Prestatyn practice.
She thoroughly enjoys travelling with her family, especially around Kenya and Canada. Aavan also enjoys hiking and running.
