West End Dental
Cosmetic Dentistry

Subtle changes, carefully made.

Cosmetic dentistry, done well, starts with listening. What you'd like to change, and what would actually look right on you. We design before we treat, so you know what to expect and can decide what's worth doing. Sometimes the answer is a single small change. Sometimes it's a longer plan. Either way, restraint is the point.

Common concerns

Most cosmetic concerns sit in one of a few familiar categories.

Four broad questions, one conversation.

Each has well-understood options, ranging from a single appointment to a longer plan. A consultation is how you find out which is right.

  • i.

    Colour

The shade of your teeth, including discolouration from age, staining, or older restorations.

  • ii.

    Shape

Chips, uneven edges, or a tooth that's always sat a little differently from the others.

  • iii.

    Position

Gaps between teeth, crowding, or mild rotations you've never quite stopped noticing.

  • iv.

    Wear

Edges that have shortened or thinned over the years, from grinding or everyday use.

How we work

Design first. Treatment second.

We don't sell smile makeovers. We listen to what you'd like to change, look at what's clinically possible, and show you a preview of the outcome before any treatment starts. If a smaller change does the job, that's what we'll recommend. The most considered cosmetic dentistry is the most restrained.

01

Listen

We start with what you'd like to change, and why. Not what we think you should change. Photos of smiles you like are welcome, but not required.

02

Preview

Where it helps, we use digital previews or wax-ups so you can see the proposed outcome on your own teeth before anything is touched.

03

Treat

Only once the plan is agreed, and only as far as needed. The smaller change is usually the better answer.

Patient story

Quietly improved, in one visit.

I had one filling and two composite veneers, expertly made on the spot.
