Dr Saumil Khamar

Saumil believes dentistry should be a positive experience. His approach centres on patient comfort, taking treatment at each person's pace while helping them regain both their smile and their confidence. He has a special interest in restorative and implant dentistry, with a focus on surgical care and full-mouth rehabilitation.

He has been part of the West End Dental team for many years, working across our Colwyn Bay, Porthmadog, and Prestatyn practices. Alongside his clinical work, he has completed postgraduate training in dental implantology and is nearing completion of a Master's degree in restorative dentistry. He is also a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and the College of General Dentistry.

Away from dentistry, Saumil often finds himself drawn into his son's imaginative worlds — sometimes an astronaut, sometimes a sea monster, occasionally a unicorn. These adventures inspired him to begin publishing a children's storybook.

He also enjoys photography, with a love for portraits of friends and family, as well as landscapes that capture the beauty of North Wales. And when the mood strikes, he believes bathroom karaoke should be recognised as an Olympic sport. For his sins, he remains a loyal Tottenham Hotspur fan.
